Fifth Third Park home of The Hub City Spartanburgers, was built for Opening Night 2025 as Minor League Baseball returned to Spartanburg. Blending modern amenities with local character, and infused with the work of local artists, Fifth Third Park will be used for events and programming throughout the year even beyond Spartanburgers games. Tyger River Park stands out as South Carolina’s premier baseball and softball tournament facility. With 12 fields, a championship stadium, and an array of site amenities—including a 1.25-mile walking trail, dog park, 18-hole disc golf course, batting cages, clubhouse, outdoor fitness equipment, picnic shelters, playgrounds, and a splash pad—this park is perfect for sports tournaments and community gatherings.

VaDuMar McMillan Park offers an impressive mix of amenities. Enjoy an 18-hole disc golf course, paved walking trail, picnic shelter, two playgrounds, and a splash pad (open from Memorial Day Weekend through October 1st). The park also features rectangular playing fields, restrooms, seven shade structures, three tennis courts, twelve pickleball courts, and a sand volleyball court.

Milliken Arboretum spans 600 acres of breathtaking foliage, ponds, and green spaces, the Milliken Arboretum is a must-visit destination for nature enthusiasts. Easily accessible from Interstate-85-Business, this expansive venue is ideal for relaxation, outdoor activities, and capturing the beauty of Spartanburg County.
The Star Center boasts over 100,000 square feet of indoor space and more than 60 acres of outdoor fields and volleyball courts. This versatile venue is designed to host everything from sports competitions to community gatherings, making it a cornerstone of Spartanburg’s event hosting scene.
North Spartanburg Park is a versatile venue used for baseball/softball tournaments and local youth league play. The park features five baseball/softball fields, a bicycle motocross (BMX) track, outdoor fitness equipment, picnic shelters, a playground, restrooms, and a walking trail—ensuring plenty of activities for all ages.

The Carolina Country Club of Spartanburg is a true gem. Designed by Tom Jackson, this 18-hole championship golf course is rated as one of the best in the Upstate. The course, which stretches over 7,000 yards with six sets of tees, meanders through a beautiful natural setting with streams and a signature lake influencing several holes. Club amenities include racquet facilities, fitness training, swimming, and fine dining.
Middle Tyger YMCA offers a diverse range of programs. Enjoy sports and recreation, gymnastics, and summer day camps, plus the member-favorite indoor pool that provides year-round enjoyment and has hosted youth and high-school-level swimming events in recent years.
Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium (Wofford College) is a state-of-the-art facility that serves as home to Wofford’s basketball teams, as well as lacrosse and volleyball. This 3,400-seat arena covers 123,055 square feet, including a 350-seat arena for volleyball, an entertainment area known as Club 51 for club seat holders, and four concession stands—one featuring a full kitchen.
County University Soccer Stadium (USC Upstate) is a joint effort between USC Upstate and Spartanburg County. The stadium features five regulation soccer fields on university property, serving as a practice facility for USC Upstate’s men’s and women’s soccer teams, as well as a home site for local youth soccer organizations.
